Parenting in a pandemic: how children's lives will change post COVID-19
Dear Chang Chun,
At the University of South Australia, we pride ourselves on creating interdisciplinary teams that tackle significant real-world challenges. That's why, in the wake of the largest health crisis in modern times, we are leading the conversation on COVID-19 related issues and evidence-based solutions.
Parenting in a pandemic: how children's lives will change post COVID-19
Adjusting to the 'new normal' has meant that we have had to find new ways to navigate how we work and live. With distancing and self-isolation measures in place, we are spending more time with our families than ever.
But what effect does this have on our children? Will we continue to live as we have for the past few months as we start sending our children back to school, or will we quickly go back to the way it was before COVD-19?
Anyone with children at home may know how hard it can be to parent at the best of times, let alone during a pandemic. How can parents and caregivers make sure their children stay physically and psychologically healthy?
Our researchers will take part in a panel discussion providing insights into how our children's lives will change in the way they learn and stay healthy as we navigate through COVID-19.
We invite you to join us for this informative webinar as we discuss how we parent in a pandemic and beyond.
There will also be an opportunity to ask the panelists questions upon registration.
