This exhibition aims to facilitate intercultural understanding by providing a platform to artists from culturally diverse backgrounds, and will feature an exciting mix of globally recognised names from Uganda, Nigeria, South Africa and Kenya alongside locally based emerging artists. 1 – 31 May >> Gone Shopping: Department Stores in South Australia Presented by The Bob Hawke Prime Ministerial Centre and Architecture Museum, UniSA Creative, this Kerry Packer Civic Gallery exhibition of architectural drawings, photographs and advertising material will use the rich collection of the Architecture Museum, and will include not only department stores from Adelaide city, but also those in suburban shopping malls, and main streets of country towns. The storefronts of well-known retailers like Myer, Harris Scarfe, and David Jones, as well as those no longer with us, including John Martins, Moore's, Peoplestores, and Eudunda's, will be on display.
