转发:Season's greetings from Adelaide University

原始邮件

Dear Chang Chun

With this extraordinary year drawing to a close, we are now only weeks away from opening the doors to Adelaide University. This is a remarkable milestone for our founding community – alumni, donors and friends – and you have played an integral role in getting us here. You will continue to be vital in the future success of Adelaide University.

Adelaide University stands for progress and a world that's better for all. With a bold and ambitious vision, together we're creating a place of innovation, discovery, and opportunity — globally connected, locally proud, and ready to inspire generations to come.
Founding Alumni

For our founding alumni community of over 400,000 alumni around the world, the coming year offers an exciting opportunity for us to reimagine our programs that support you. We are excited to launch a new alumni benefits program in 2026, which will include some continuing favourites as well as new initiatives to support networking, professional development and lifelong learning. We will provide more information on how to access benefits early in the new year.
Donor Community

The support of our donors makes extraordinary things possible. Because of you, students thrive, communities and cultural programs flourish, and researchers pursue discoveries that shape the future. Through the passing of new state legislation, provision has been made for honouring and transferring all gifts made to the foundation universities. As we open our doors to Adelaide University, the impact of your giving continues.

We're grateful to our generous bequest donors from our founding universities, who we will welcome to our newly named bequest community: Adelaide University Jacaranda Circle. We look forward to sharing more details with you about this group in the new year.
On behalf of the staff and students at Adelaide University, we wish you and your families a safe and joyful festive season.

With a fabulous year of firsts ahead of us, we look forward to celebrating the opening of Adelaide University with you in the new year.

Warm regards

Professor Jessica Gallagher
Deputy Vice Chancellor – International and External Engagement

Liz Hawkins
Chief Advancement Officer

P.S. To alumni or supporters of both founding universities: you are the custodians of two proud legacies, and may receive this message from both institutions. As of 2026, you will receive a single copy of all communications from Adelaide University.

Save the date for Adelaide University's first Kaurna Day on Thursday 5 March to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, beginning with a dawn smoking ceremony.

In the spirit of new beginnings, visit MOD's next exhibition BEGINNINGS from 13 January, to explore how and why we are here, where we belong in the world, and how we can act in the present to shape the future.
We respectfully acknowledge the Kaurna, Boandik, and Barngarla First Nations Peoples and their Elders past and present, who are the Traditional Owners of the lands that are home to our campuses across South Australia.
