UniSA Webinar – Adapting Business Strategies to Accelerate Growth
Dear Chang Chun,
As part of our alumni community living outside of Australia, we're delighted to invite you to a presentation by Professor Jana Matthews, ANZ Chair in Business and Director of the Australian Centre for Business Growth. It is with great pleasure that this presentation will be facilitated by former Australian Entrepreneur of the Year, UniSA alumnus and founder of Zen Energy Professor Richard Turner, Industry Professor of Practice and Entrepreneur in Residence.
Professor Matthews is a leading business strategist, innovator and expert in entrepreneurial leadership and business growth. She has worked with small and medium companies around the world, including the USA, United Kingdom, Canada, India, China, Malaysia, Singapore, New Zealand, and Australia. She will discuss lessons learned about resilience and business strategies that are being used to accelerate company growth.
This is the first time this presentation has been made available to alumni outside of Australia, and we hope you can join us.
We also take this opportunity to wish you and those around you well in these unprecedented times.

Professor Jana Matthews is an international expert on entrepreneurial leadership and business growth; has served on seven boards and founded five companies of her own including The Jana Matthews Group, Boulder Quantum Ventures, and M&H Group. She was recruited to the original senior team of the Kauffman Foundation's Centre for Entrepreneurial Leadership, where she was the architect of highly successful programs designed to teach CEOs and their executive teams how to lead and manage growth. Professor Matthews has direct experience developing programs to educate angel investors, facilitate technology transfer, and create ecosystems to support entrepreneurs and growth companies. In recent years, Start-up Daily identified Professor Matthews as one of the leading women in Australia's innovation ecosystem, and in 2018 she was included on the Australian Financial Review list of "100 Women of Influence" in Australia.

Distinguished alumnus and entrepreneur, Professor Richard Turner, Industry Professor of Practice and Entrepreneur in Residence will be joining Professor Matthews for the presentation. Professor Turner, is the Founder of Zen Energy, recognised as the fastest growing company in South Australia (2010 and 2011), and the 4th fastest growing company in 2012 (BRW magazine). Professor Turner is a specialist in re-invention and industry disruption and was named Australian Entrepreneur of the Year for the Cleantech sector in 2010.
